Loaner car: the 2020 Audi Q5 Technik

This 2020 Audi Q5 Technik page is written for a car while yours is off the road: the car first, then renting it from us. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.

Renting for Java

We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,639 km away. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Around Java you will also find Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

Reading the spec sheet

It runs the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with all-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Plan on about 29 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 9.7 L/100 km. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $16.97.

Who it is for

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Practical details

An SUV body means more headroom and a taller cargo opening than a car of the same length. The body is 4.66 m long and 1.89 m wide. It fits most condo and driveway spots.

Renting the Q5 from CarmaCars

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner.

Renting: the basics

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

Booking in plain terms

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.
