Renting for Java

If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

If you are near Java, Selby, Lowry and Sitka are close too.

The numbers in plain words

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo does the work, through a 7-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

It is rated 9.7 L/100 km combined: about 29 litres every 300 km. At our price setting, it costs about $16.97 to drive 100 km.

What the Q5 is like

The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic. It measures 4.66 m long by 1.89 m wide. It fits most condo and driveway spots.

Good uses for the Q5

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

In our fleet

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

Your booking, in three steps

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Who qualifies

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.
