Renting: the basics

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

The steps

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
