Renting: the basics

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
