Luup alternative: the 2012 BMW Active E

The 2012 BMW Active E is on this page for Luup alternative: here is what to know before you request one. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Specs, explained

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

Good uses for the Active E

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Inside and out

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk.

Renting this car

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.

Renting: the basics

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

How booking works

All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

Make a request

The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
