Luup alternative with this car
For a rental car, the 2012 BMW X1 could fit; below, the figures and how booking works. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
The numbers in plain words
No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.
What to expect from the X1
It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with.
Good uses for the X1
It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.
Getting one from us
None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
What we need from you
Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.
You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
Booking with CarmaCars
You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.
The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
Let us know

Can I rent a 2012 BMW X1 in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
