About the BMW X3
Searching for Luup alternative and the BMW X3? Here is what the car is like and how to rent one from us. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.
The numbers in plain words
No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.
Space and size
As a compact SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier. The one in our fleet seats 5.
Good uses for the X3
Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.
Renting this car
1 of our cars match this page; each shows its rates and calendar. From $315 a day before tax, for our matching cars. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Booking with CarmaCars
A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.
The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.
What to bring
You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.
If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

Luup alternative: the BMW X3
Can I rent a BMW X3 in Toronto?
Yes. We have one on the site now, each with its own calendar and price. Choose your dates on the car's page and send a request; nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
