The 2011 BMW X3 is on this page for Luup alternative: here is what to know before you request one. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
Specs, explained
The 3.0L 6-cylinder turbo does the work, through an 8-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.
Expect about 33 litres for every 300 km, going by its 11.0 L/100 km combined rating. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $19.25 at our price setting.
Space and size
Being an SUV, it handles luggage, strollers and sports gear well. The length is 4.65 m. It fits most condo and driveway spots.
Good uses for the X3
It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.
Renting it
There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
Licence, age and card
Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.
Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
From request to keys
Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. You pay when you approve, and only then.
Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.
