Renting the BMW X5
If you need a rental car, read about the BMW X5 here, then request it. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
Reading the spec sheet
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
What to expect from the X5
The higher seat of a full-size SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic. It has seats for 5, going by the one in our fleet.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.
Getting this car from us
Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. We have 1 on the site now, each with its own calendar and price. From $203 a day before tax, for our matching cars. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
Booking made plain
You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.
Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
Driver basics
The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.
Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

Can I rent a BMW X5 in Toronto?
Yes. We have one on the site now, each with its own calendar and price. Choose your dates on the car's page and send a request; nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
