Luup alternative: GMC WCA

The GMC WCA: Luup alternative

For a rental car, here is what the GMC WCA brings, and how to request one. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

What the specs mean

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

Practical details

As a car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight.

Best uses

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Renting this car

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.

What to bring

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

Getting the car booked

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
