Luup alternative: the 1985 GMC WCA

This 1985 GMC WCA page is written for a rental car: the car first, then renting it from us. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Under the hood

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

Who it is for

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Room inside

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with.

Rent this car

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. Delivery starts at $75 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.

What to bring

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

The steps

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

When you know your dates

When you have your dates, send a request. It is free, and the offer shows the full price.
