Luup alternative and the 2021 Honda Civic LX

Here is the 2021 Honda Civic LX from the angle of someone searching for Luup alternative. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

The Civic and Knobs

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Knobs. CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 692 km from Knobs, and does not deliver there.

Neighbouring areas include Johnson Crossroads, Elmhurst and Union.

Specs, explained

The 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo does the work, through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Its combined rating is 6.9 L/100 km, which means roughly 21 litres for 300 km. For 1,000 km, budget about $107 at our price setting.

A good match for

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

What the Civic is like

As a large sedan, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. With 736 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Can I rent it?

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

From your dates to the handover

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

What we check

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
