Luup alternative: the 2007 Jeep Compass
Want the 2007 Jeep Compass as a rental car? Start here: the car in plain words, then how booking works. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
Engine and fuel
The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive and an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
It is rated 9.8 L/100 km combined: about 29 litres every 300 km. At our price setting, it costs about $15.19 to drive 100 km.
When the Compass makes sense
It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.
The Compass in everyday use
The higher seat of an SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.

The booking steps
Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.
A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
What we ask of drivers
We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.
