Driver basics

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

From your dates to the handover

Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
