Luup alternative: the 2006 Mazda 3
The 2006 Mazda 3 for a rental car: the facts first, then the booking. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
Engine and fuel
It uses the 2.0L 4-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
The EPA rates it at 8.7 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 26 litres. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $40.47 at our price setting.
Who it is for
It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.
Inside and out
As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The EPA measures its luggage space at 481 litres, roughly a family's bags for a long weekend.
Our 3 cars
Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Your request, our offer, your keys
Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.
You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.
Licence, age and card
If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.
You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.
One more step
Look through the cars, choose one, and send a request when it suits you.
