Luup alternative and the Mazda MPV
If you need a rental car, read about the Mazda MPV here, then request it. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.
What the figures tell you
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Best uses
It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.
The MPV in everyday use
A tall roof and wide doors make it easy to load people and bags.

Booking in plain terms
To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.
You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.
Who qualifies
Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.
Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.
When you know your dates

Can I rent a Mazda MPV in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
