Renting the 1989 Mazda MPV
Searching for Luup alternative? Here is the 1989 Mazda MPV: what it is like and how to rent it. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
Engine and fuel
The 2.6L 4-cylinder is what moves it, with rear-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 37 litres, from its 12.4 L/100 km rating. Every 100 km costs about $19.22 in fuel at our price setting.
Size and space
Being a van, it carries people and their bags without fuss.
Who the MPV suits
It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.
Getting one from us
None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
Your request, our offer, your keys
To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. You pay only once you approve the offer.
Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
Driver basics
An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.
Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
