Renting the 1998 Mercury Sable

Renting the 1998 Mercury Sable as a rental car works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Under the hood

It is powered by the 3.0L 6-cylinder, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

At 12.4 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 37 litres of fuel. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $19.22, and a 300 km weekend about $57.66.

A good match for

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Space, size and seats

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. For luggage, 1,076 litres means bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Can I rent it?

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.

How renting with us works

To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

What we check

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
