Luup alternative and the 2003 Mercury Sable
This 2003 Mercury Sable page is written for a rental car: the car first, then renting it from us. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
What the figures tell you
Under the hood: the 3.0L 6-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
By the EPA's combined rating of 11.9 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 36 litres. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $18.45 at our price setting.
Space and size
As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. For luggage, 1,104 litres means bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.
When the Sable makes sense
It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.
Can you rent one?

The steps
You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.
Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.
What to bring
If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.
