What you need to rent

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

How a booking comes together

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.
