Renting for Java

If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,639 km from Java, and does not deliver there.

Close by are Selby, Lowry and Sitka, each with its own page.

What the figures tell you

Power: the 5.7L 8-cylinder; drive: rear-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

It is rated 13.6 L/100 km combined: about 41 litres every 300 km. Expect about $21.08 per 100 km at our price setting.

Who it is for

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It uses more fuel than most, so it suits shorter trips or people who need its size.

What the 1500 is like

As a pickup truck, it has an open bed for things that would never fit in a trunk.

Our 1500 cars

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Driver requirements

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

From request to keys

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

Ready when you are

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
