The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX: Luup alternative

For a rental car, the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX is one of many cars on CarmaCars, each with its own page. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

Renting for Java

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 770 km from Java, and does not deliver there. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

If you are near Java, Lucks, Ebenezer and Shockoe are close too.

What the specs mean

It runs the 6.2L 8-cylinder supercharged, with four-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Four-wheel drive helps on rough ground and deep snow; on dry roads it behaves like any other vehicle.

It is rated 19.8 L/100 km combined: about 59 litres every 300 km. A 300 km weekend costs about $103.95 in energy at our price setting.

A good match for

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Practical details

As a pickup truck, it has an open bed for things that would never fit in a trunk.

Renting it

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

Requirements

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

Booking with CarmaCars

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.
