About the 2016 Scion tC
If you need a rental car, the 2016 Scion tC is one option; this page explains the car and how booking works. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.
Specs, explained
The 2.5L 4-cylinder with front-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
Plan on about 27 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 9.1 L/100 km. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $14.11 at our price setting.
Practical details
A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. Luggage space is rated at 425 litres: a family's bags for a long weekend.
Who it is for
It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.
Getting one from us
Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
Requesting a car
You ask for the car online with your dates, and you pay nothing to send it. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.
Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
Who qualifies
If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.
Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

If something here is unclear, ask in your request; we reply in plain words.
