Luup alternative: Sterling

The Sterling: Luup alternative

The Sterling is on this page for Luup alternative: here is what to know before you request one. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

What the figures tell you

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

Best uses

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Getting one from us

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. We have no Sterling on the site right now. Send a request with the model you want, and we look for one for your dates. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.

Who qualifies

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

How to book

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
