Every Subaru Brat year
Luup alternative and the Subaru Brat
This Subaru Brat page is written for a rental car: the car first, then renting it from us. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
The numbers in plain words
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Who the Brat suits
It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.
Living with the Brat
It is built for loads that would never fit in a trunk.
Renting this car
Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.
What to have ready
We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.
Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
The booking steps
Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.
Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

Can I rent a Subaru Brat in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
