Renting the 1981 Subaru Brat
Searching for Luup alternative? Here is the 1981 Subaru Brat: what it is like and how to rent it. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
The figures, translated
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
How big it is
Being a van, it carries people and their bags without fuss.
Good uses for the Brat
It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.
Can I rent it?
A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
Rules for renters
If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.
The steps
The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.
Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
Get an offer
Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
