About the 2017 Subaru Forester
Renting the 2017 Subaru Forester as a rental car works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
Engine and fuel
Under the hood: the 2.5L 4-cylinder and all-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.
By the EPA's combined rating of 8.4 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 25 litres. In energy, every 100 km costs about $13.02 at our price setting.
What to expect from the Forester
An SUV body means more headroom and a taller cargo opening than a car of the same length. Luggage space is 963 litres, enough for bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.
Who the Forester suits
It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.
Rent it from us
A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
From request to keys
To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.
The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
Who can rent
Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.
You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.
