Luup alternative with this car

The Subaru Forester is on this page for Luup alternative: here is what to know before you request one. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

What the figures tell you

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

When the Forester makes sense

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

What to expect from the Forester

Being an SUV, it handles luggage, strollers and sports gear well.

Can you rent one?

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.

Booking made plain

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

What we ask of drivers

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

Let us know

When you have your dates, send a request. It is free, and the offer shows the full price.

Can I rent a Subaru Forester in Toronto?

Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.

How old do I need to be to rent?

18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.

How much is the deposit?

Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.

What coverage do I need?

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.

Can the car be delivered?

Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
