The 1989 Subaru Hatchback: Luup alternative
This page joins two things: Luup alternative, and the 1989 Subaru Hatchback in plain words. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
The numbers in plain words
Power: the 1.8L 4-cylinder; drive: front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
Rated at 9.4 L/100 km combined, it needs around 28 litres for a 300 km round trip. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $145.70.
Who the Hatchback suits
It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.
Room inside
Being a small car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. The EPA lists 311 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Your request, our offer, your keys
Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.
Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.
What we need from you
An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.
Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
