Want the 2012 Volvo C70 as a rental car? Start here: the car in plain words, then how booking works. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
Specs, explained
It runs the 2.5L 5-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
Fuel use is rated 11.0 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 33 litres. That works out to about $17.05 per 100 km at our price setting.
Size and space
As a small car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. At 368 litres, the trunk fits about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
Best uses
It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It uses more fuel than most, so it suits shorter trips or people who need its size.
Rent it from us
Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
How booking works
First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. You pay only once you approve the offer.
Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
What we check
From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
