Luup alternative: Volvo

The Volvo: Luup alternative

If you need a rental car, the Volvo is one option; this page explains the car and how booking works. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

The numbers in plain words

The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.

Who it is for

It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Rent it from us

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Name the Volvo model you want in your request, and the offer confirms what we can give you. We have no Volvo on the site right now. Send a request with the model you want, and we look for one for your dates. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.

How to book

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

What to bring

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

Over to you

Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
