Every Volvo ACL year
Luup alternative and the Volvo ACL
If a rental car is the plan, the Volvo ACL is worth a look; here is why. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
Engine and fuel
No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.
The ACL in everyday use
Being a car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives.
When the ACL makes sense
It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.
Can I rent it?
Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
How renting with us works
To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.
Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
Before pickup
We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
Make a request
Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.

Luup alternative: the Volvo ACL
Can I rent a Volvo ACL in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
