Luup alternative: 2001 Volvo ACL

The 2001 Volvo ACL: Luup alternative

For a rental car, the 2001 Volvo ACL could fit; below, the figures and how booking works. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

Specs, explained

The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.

Room inside

As a car, it is easy to drive and park in the city.

Good uses for the ACL

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Renting the ACL from CarmaCars

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.

Who can rent

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

Your booking, in three steps

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
