Luup alternative: Volvo V40

Luup alternative: the Volvo V40

The Volvo V40 for a rental car: the facts first, then the booking. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

What the figures tell you

The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.

How big it is

As a wagon, it has the length of a car with a bigger load space at the back.

Who it is for

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Rent it from us

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.

Licence, age and card

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

How renting with us works

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Still deciding?
