Luup alternative: Volvo VN

Luup alternative and the Volvo VN

For a rental car, the Volvo VN is one of many cars on CarmaCars, each with its own page. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

Reading the spec sheet

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

When the VN makes sense

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Size and space

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with.

Can I rent it?

Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.

Requirements

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

The steps

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

One more step

The next step is yours: send a request whenever you are ready.
