About the Volvo VNL
Luup alternative and the Volvo VNL: the figures first, then how to rent it from CarmaCars. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
What the specs mean
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.
Inside and out
Being a car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives.
Rent this car
Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
Driver basics
You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.
Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.
How to book
You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.
Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Can I rent a Volvo VNL in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
