Luup alternative: Volvo VHD

Luup alternative and the Volvo VHD

Searching for Luup alternative? Here is the Volvo VHD: what it is like and how to rent it. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Reading the spec sheet

The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.

The VHD in everyday use

Being a car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives.

Good uses for the VHD

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Renting it

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.

How a booking comes together

A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

What to bring

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

Ask us

Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
