Booking in plain terms

All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

The rules, briefly

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.
