Luup alternative: 2016 Volvo VT

Luup alternative and the 2016 Volvo VT

For a rental car, here is what the 2016 Volvo VT brings, and how to request one. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

What the specs mean

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

Inside and out

As a car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight.

Who the VT suits

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Rent this car

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.

What we ask of drivers

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

How a booking comes together

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

Let us know

If something here is unclear, ask in your request; we reply in plain words.
