Reading the spec sheet

The electric motor is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Its rating is 18.6 kWh/100 km: about 56 kWh for 300 km. On paper it goes 507 km between charges, less in winter. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $27.90.

Request, offer, keys

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

What to bring

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
