New driver car rental: 2020 Audi A4 Progressiv in Java

The 2020 Audi A4 Progressiv: New driver car rental

Here is the 2020 Audi A4 Progressiv from the angle of someone searching for new driver car rental.

A note on Java

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java. Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Close by are Selby, Lowry and Sitka, each with its own page.

The figures, translated

It uses the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo and front-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Its combined rating is 7.9 L/100 km, which means roughly 24 litres for 300 km. That works out to about $13.83 per 100 km at our price setting.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Space, size and seats

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. It measures 4.76 m long by 1.85 m wide. Check the size of a tight parking spot. Its 368 litre trunk is enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

In our fleet

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

What to bring

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

How to book

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Your move

The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
