Paint correction: the VPG MV-1
Paint correction for the VPG MV-1: tell us about the car, and a person replies with a price and a time. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
The car itself
Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. As a van, it has more paint, glass and interior than a small car, so the work takes longer. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos.
Booking the work
We confirm the price and the time with you before any work. Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate. We reply within one business day with a time and a price.
Stay on the road
A rental means the work does not stop your week. Rent the size of car you need for the days the work takes. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
How long you are without it
You can plan the rental for the same number of days as the work. Tell us the date you need the car back, and we say whether it is realistic.
What to bring
Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned.
What goes into a quote
Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person. Options such as sensors, trim pieces or special paint can add time. If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price.
Aftercare
A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint. Look over the work in daylight when you collect the car.
