The 2021 Subaru Forester Base: Paint touch up

For your 2021 Subaru Forester Base, scratch repair starts with a short request. Paint work is matched to the original colour, panel by panel or the whole car. Light scratches can be polished out; deeper ones are filled and repainted.

Your Forester, up close

If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. As a compact SUV, it has more paint, glass and interior than a small car, so the work takes longer. If the car has open recalls, a dealer fixes them; ask about them while the car is off the road.

Getting a price

Your quote is for your car, not a general price list. We reply within one business day with a time and a price. We confirm the price and the time with you before any work.

Your car is in; you are not stuck

Add a rental to your request, and we deliver it to you. While it is repaired, rent from us: an insurance replacement rental when the repair is a claim your adjuster approves, or at our usual rates. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.

When the car is ready

If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental. Small repairs can take hours; paint and collision work can take days.

Why prices differ

The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail. Paint colours with pearl or metallic finishes can take more work to match. If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price.

Getting the car ready

Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together. Ask any question you have before the work starts. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work.

Keeping it that way

Regular washes in winter help keep road salt from attacking the paint. Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish.
