Towing: how we help

The 2021 Subaru Forester Base and a tow: CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop, and never does the work itself. Tell us where the car is, where it should go, and whether the keys are with it.

About your Forester

A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. The 2.5L 4-cylinder with all-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at.

What we arrange

Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.

Driving while yours is at the shop

The rental is priced like any other on our site. We collect the rental when your car is back. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.

Talking to the shop

Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.

Small things that help

If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.

Still deciding?

Ask in your request, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
