- Body: midsize cars (EPA size class).
2004 Mercury Sable: every figure
| Displacement | 3.0 L |
|---|---|
| Cylinders | 6 |
| MPG city (US) | 17 |
| MPG highway (US) | 24 |
| MPG combined (US) | 20 |
| MPG combined (Imperial) (converted from the US figure) | 24 |
| Luggage volume (litres converted from EPA's cubic feet) | 1104 L (39 cu ft) |

| Fuel cost for 20,000 km (at $1.55 a litre) | $3,720 |
Sources: fuel use, MPG, CO2, electric range, battery, charge time, luggage volume and the annual fuel cost are the US EPA's (fueleconomy.gov). Imperial MPG, litres, inches and pounds are converted from those figures. Figures no free source publishes for this car (power, torque, acceleration, top speed, fuel tank, towing) are left out.
Polishing: your Sable
For paint correction on the 2004 Mercury Sable, it starts with a short request: what it needs and when. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.
The car itself
Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in.
From request to appointment
Your quote is for your car, not a general price list. You can add a rental to the same request. Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate.
Keep driving meanwhile
A rental by the day covers the time your car is in. Keep driving while it is detailed: we deliver a rental and collect it when yours is ready. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
Getting the car ready
Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive.
When the car is ready
Most small jobs fit within a day; larger ones are booked over several days. We give you a time with the quote, so you can plan a rental for the right number of days.
What goes into a quote
We explain the price in plain words if anything is unclear. The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. Ask what is included, so you can compare quotes fairly.
Looking after it afterwards
Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish. Regular washes in winter help keep road salt from attacking the paint.
When you know your dates
A person reads every request and replies with the next step.
