PPF: your Edge

PPF for your 2024 Ford Edge SEL? Start with a request; a person replies with a price and a time. Paint protection film is a clear layer on the parts of the car that take stone chips, like the hood and bumper.

The car itself

A bigger body means more surface to work on, which shows in the time. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. As a compact SUV, it has more paint, glass and interior than a small car, so the work takes longer.

How to request it

Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate. We confirm the price and the time with you before any work. Ask anything about the work in the request.

Driving while yours is in

A rental means the work does not stop your week. Keep driving while it is detailed: we deliver a rental and collect it when yours is ready. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.

Aftercare

Film is washed like paint; avoid aiming a pressure washer at its edges. A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint.

How long it takes

A wash or a light detail takes hours; paint correction, film and coatings can take days. We call or write when the car is ready, and you collect it or we arrange the handover.

Before you drop the car off

Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached. Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work.

What goes into a quote

The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car. Ask what is included, so you can compare quotes fairly. Options such as sensors, trim pieces or special paint can add time.
