Rent a car: blue 2018 Audi A4 Progressiv in Java

Rent a car and the 2018 Audi A4 Progressiv

For a rental car, here is what the 2018 Audi A4 Progressiv brings, and how to request one. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Java and the A4

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java. We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 3,178 km away.

If you are near Java, Klinefelter, Ibis and Arrowhead Junction are close too.

The numbers in plain words

Power comes from the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, driving through a 6-speed manual. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Combined fuel use is 8.6 L/100 km: about 26 litres for 300 km. Every 100 km costs about $15.05 in fuel at our price setting.

The A4 in everyday use

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. The EPA measures its luggage space at 368 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Can you rent one?

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

From your dates to the handover

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Renting: the basics

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

Still deciding?

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
