Replacement car rental and the 2020 Audi A4 Progressiv

For a car while yours is off the road, here is what the 2020 Audi A4 Progressiv brings, and how to request one. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.

The A4 and Java

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,639 km from Java, and does not deliver there. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Selby, Lowry and Sitka are the closest places to Java on our list.

Under the hood

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Plan on about 24 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 7.9 L/100 km. That works out to about $13.83 per 100 km at our price setting.

Practical details

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. NHTSA lists it at 4.76 m long. Check the size of a tight parking spot. The trunk holds 368 litres by the EPA's count: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who the A4 suits

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Getting this car from us

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

Driver requirements

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

Still deciding?
