Reading the spec sheet

The powertrain to know here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

A combined rating of 7.9 L/100 km works out to about 24 litres per 300 km. Driving 300 km costs roughly $41.49 at our price setting.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Space, size and seats

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. NHTSA lists it at 4.76 m long. Check the size of a tight parking spot. With 368 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting it

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Your request, our offer, your keys

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

What we check

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

When you know your dates

A request takes a few minutes and puts a real offer in front of you.
