The figures, translated

The powertrain to know here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Plan on about 25 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 8.3 L/100 km. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $128.70.

Inside and out

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. The EPA measures its luggage space at 340 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who rents the A4

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country.

Renting this car

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.

The booking steps

A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Before you rent

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

Next step

Tell us your dates and where you want the car, and we will do the rest.
